Accessibility statement

Our commitment
Stayantra (Nexalaris Tech) wants everyone to be able to find, compare, and book a hotel stay on this marketplace — including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, switch devices, or keyboard-only navigation.
Conformance target
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, in line with the European Accessibility Act. We do not yet claim full conformance: remediation is ongoing and we audit the booking funnel, search, and account areas as we build.
What we have done so far
- A skip link and consistent landmarks on every page.
- Keyboard-operable booking flow, with focus moved to each step as you progress.
- Screen-reader announcements for asynchronous events: availability checks, payment processing, booking confirmation, errors, and replies from the AI concierge.
- Programmatic labels and error messages on forms.
- Automated accessibility linting enforced in our build.
Known limitations
- Some decorative animations do not yet fully respect the “reduced motion” system preference.
- Colour contrast on a small number of secondary text elements is still being reviewed against the AA ratio.
- Payment is completed on third-party gateway pages (eSewa, Khalti, Stripe) whose accessibility we do not control.
- Some hotel photos are supplied by hotels and may lack fully descriptive alternative text.
Feedback and contact
If you hit a barrier while using this site — or need a booking made in an alternative way — email info@stayantra.com. Please describe the problem and the page it happened on; we aim to respond within five business days and to fix verified barriers as a priority.
